Chandler West

Founder & Creative Director

Righteous Fights was founded by Chandler West, a Washington D.C.-based photographer and creative director with past clients ranging from political campaigns and editorial companies to non-profit mission-driven organizations. He most recently served as Deputy Director of Photography at the White House.

Chandler is an expert at assembling teams and the operational side of storytelling, including digital strategy, photography, video production, and live-stream events.

In 2016, he kickstarted the storytelling engine of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and captured executive photography for Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg. Chandler previously managed digital projects for the progressive advocacy organization Indivisible.

His career started as an independent photojournalist in Chicago. During that time, his work was published in editorial publications including the Chicago Sun-Times, and The Wall Street Journal's Photo Journal.

Chandler launched Righteous Fights in hopes of using digital storytelling to create a future that’s more just, equitable, and inclusive for all.
